Nanfang Daily News recently, the Dongguan Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics released the CPI data of Dongguan in July. Data show that affected by the increase in the prices of services such as tourism, transportation, and rent, the overall level of consumer prices in Dongguan in July continued the previous month's trend, rising by 0.1% month-on-month and 1.7% year-on-year. From January to July, the overall level of consumer prices rose by 1.4%, an increase of 0.1% over the period from January to June.
Data show that compared with the previous month, the overall level of consumer prices in Dongguan rose by 0.1% in July. Food prices have gone up and down. Among them, the prices of pork, poultry and eggs rose by 0.5%, 4.3%, and 0.9%, respectively, due to factors such as the reduction in the number of live pigs for slaughter, the "cooling" of bird flu, and the reduction in egg production.
Compared with the same month of the previous year, the overall level of consumer prices in Dongguan City rose by 1.7%, and eight categories of goods (services) showed a trend of "six rises, one drop and one flat". Among them, the price of food increased by 2.6%, and the price of housing increased by 3.0%, both of which contributed to the increase of CPI by 1.41%. Among the 16 food categories, the price of beef increased by 22.9%, the price of shrimp and crab increased by 12.7%, and the price of mutton. The price rose by 9.5%, and the price of fresh vegetables rose by 8.4%.
